Classic Cherry Delight

A delightful no-bake dessert featuring a buttery graham cracker crust, creamy filling, and luscious cherry topping, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

  • 7 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs (about 9 whole crackers)
  • 3 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 1 container cool whip, 8 ounces
  • 1 can cherry pie filling, 21 ounces

Instructions

  1. Make the Crust: In a bowl, combine the melted butter, graham cracker crumbs, and granulated sugar. Mix well until crumbly. Press this mixture firmly into the bottom of a 9×13 inch dish to form the crust.
  2. Prepare the Filling: In a separate bowl, beat together the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy. Gently fold in the cool whip until just combined.
  3. Assemble the Dessert: Spread the cream cheese filling over the graham cracker crust evenly.
  4. Top with Cherry Filling: Pour the cherry pie filling over the cream cheese layer, spreading it out evenly.
  5. Chill: Cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 240 minutes, or until set.

Notes

Best served chilled. Can garnish with a dollop of cool whip or additional cherries. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3-4 days.
